The Hubster had to cancel the business trip he was supposed to take at the beginning of this week, because on Friday he threw out his back lifting Goose out of his crib.
Goose had been waking up at night because he was soaking through his diapers and wetting his clothes, which in boys is a signal they need a larger size. As of this weekend, we moved him up to size 5 diapers.* At nine months. The Monkeyboy, at age 3 1/2, wears size 6, but can wear a 5 in a pinch. They really are going to be sharing clothes soon.
*For the record, this did the trick. Since we switched, he’s been dry.

Holy crap, size 5? I guess I won’t complain about how big my baby is anymore! We are still in size 3 but will be moving up next time we buy. How much does that kid weigh again? Your back must be killing you too.
Good lord, size 5 at nine months! My daughter never made it out of size 3’s before she was potty trained. Yes, you may shoot me now (sorry).
