I forgot to mention… following the tradition of “If it’s a weird ailment or side effect, I’ll get it,” the Monkey was sent home from daycare last week with a fever. A fever that turned out to be Coxsackie Virus, known colloquially as Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (or what Toddler 411 said should be called “Hand, Foot, Mouth and Butt” Disease).
Luckily, both for him and me, it’s a very mild outbreak. But it just goes to show, there’s never a dull moment around here.
